With this plugin, customers can transition back and forth seamlessly between Facebook and your website, without losing the conversation’s history and context.

How to install
To install the plugin to your website, just follow these three simple steps:
- In your Facebook Page Settings whitelist your domain (Page Settings – Messenger Platform – Whitelisted Domains).
- Add the chat plugin to your website by inserting a div with a few attributes in your HTML.

One of the most important setting is the
minimized attribute: it specifies whether the plugin greeting text should be minimized or shown. False shows the Messenger logo and a “Need Help” greeting bubble (for desktop) while true will show only the Messenger logo (which is much better on mobile).
If you have a website with multiple accounts (for example a marketplace website with different sellers), then you can add different chat plugins to the subpages and accounts, so you will make sure that everyone will be able to communicate directly with their account of their choice.
